Screen Size and Resolution

The iBook has a built-in display of 12.1 inch TFT XGA active-matrix display with an 1024×768 native resolution and also 2nd Mirroring Display support option with a maximum 1024×768 resolution.

The Apple iBook has MacOS 9.2.2 and X 10.1.4 pre-installed in it, a 600 MHz PowerPC 750fx (G3) processor, while its graphics are supported by a 2X AGP ATI Mobility Radeon graphics with 16 MB of VRAM. The Windows OS support modules that we have come to love and expect were not available at the time of development and thus were not available for the device.

Although the iBook comes with 128 MB of RAM it can be upgraded to up to 640 MB of RAM. The Operating System of the iBook can also be upgraded from its pre-installed MacOS 9.2.2 and X 10.1.4 up to MacOS X 10.4.11.
