Apple iPod Classic 7th Generation SpecsiPod classic - MB562LL/A - A1238
About This iPod
The Apple iPod classic is an upgrade to the original device with better battery life, faster memory, faster performance and also larger capacity. The only downside is the inability to support video out possibilities from its headphone jack. This also marked the first time that none of the primary colors of the iPod were white. This version also has some games bundled with it to give the same nostalgic feeling embodied by the original iPod devices.
Storage & Memory
The iPod classic is running on a 64 MB RAM and its 120 GB version was able to accommodate 30,000 songs and 25,000 photos while the 160 GB version was able to accommodate 40,000 songs and also 25,000 photos.
Screen Size and Resolution
The iPod classic comes with a 2.5-inch QVGA LCD display with LED backlight which supported a native resolution of 320×240 at 163 ppi.
The iPod classic has very little details disclosed about its processor but it is detected through third-party analysis that it made use of a Samsung ARM processor although the details are not known.
The iPod classic model is able to support 36 hours of music playback and 6 hours of video playback.
The iPod classic comes with USB support sync and charges support, however, the FireWire 400 support that it comes with is only useful for charging as it does not allow for syncing.
