The Apple MacBook Air model released July 20, 2011comes with an Intel 1.6 GHz Core i5 processor (I5-2467M). It is also equipped with an Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics processor that makes use of 256 MB or 384 MB of system memory. Being the successor of the launch model, some of the major upgrades include the swapping out of the hard drive for solid state storage. This allows the a1370 model to be more portable and less fragile. The weight of this device is approximately 2.2lbs (1 kg) which is lighter than any other device produced by Apple.

This MacBook Air comes with either 64 or 128 GB SSD of flash storage. This is a major upgrade from the previous generation. It includes an SSD to help prevent damage to the device from drops or sudden jolts. It also allowed Apple to significantly reduce the size of the device.
Screen Size and Resolution
This MacBook Air sub-notebook has an 11.6” widescreen TFT LED-backlit active-matrix glossy display and a 1366 x 768 native resolution. The inclusion of a smaller screen size helped the device find a niche in its industry and further emphasized its portability.
Processor& Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)
This MacBook Air comes with MacOS X 10.7 (11A2063) and runs on a 1.6 GHz Intel Corei5 (I5-2467M) processor. It also has an Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics processor that shares with either 256 MB or 384 MB of memory with the system.

The MacBook Air is equipped with a 32k/32k Level 1 Cache and 3 MB (on chip) Level 2/Level 3 cache. It is also has a 2 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM on board which can be upgraded to 4 GB only at the time of purchase.
