The Apple MacBook Air model, an 11” version, was released midway through 2012. It comes equipped with a 720p “FaceTime HD” webcam, 4 GB or 8 GB of 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM on the motherboard. The MacBook Air maintained its razor thin design and further pronounced the trademark of the brand with a reduced weight from the previous versions down to 2.3 pounds. Screen Size and Resolution
This MacBook Air sub-notebook has an 13” widescreen TFT LED-backlit active-matrix glossy display and a 1440 x 900 native resolution. The resolution is high enough to give clear quality images with pixels being barely visible when up close.
Processor& Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)
This MacBook Air comes with a pre-installed MacOS X 10.7.4 (11E2520) and runs on a 2.0 GHz Intel Core i7 (I7-3667U) processor. It also has an Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics processor that shares 384 MB up to 512 MB of memory with the system.
