About This MacBook Pro

The Apple MacBook Pro went on sale on January 10, 2006.  Although it looks like the PowerBook G4 that preceded it, one of its key differences is the Intel Core Duo 2.16 GHz processor (T2600) that powers it. The MacBook Pro is developed to suit the more power hungry individuals and allows its owners to do complex work on the go. The MacBook Pro comes with a 15-inch screen as standard. Other differences include the absence of FireWire 400 port and S-Video out ports. Further device specifications and capabilities of this MacBook Pro can be found below.

The device comes with an impressive 100.0 GB Serial ATA (5400 rpm) hard drive with “Sudden Motion Sensor”.  It is incorporated in the previous PowerBook and iBook lines to ensure the safety of your data in event of any accidental damage.

    Screen Size and Resolution

The MacBook Pro has a 15.4” widescreen that incorporates a TFT active-matrix “glossy display”.  It ensures clear visuals from most wide angles.
