This device is a BTO/CTO device which is nearly identical to MC725LL/A. We have listed this device separately as it has been configured with an upgraded processor when compared to the base model. This has been done to make it easier to catalog as well as easier to read.
Apple continued the production of the MacBook Pro in early 2011 till late 2011’s up to the mbp MD311LL A marking the end. They introduced the a1297 MacBook Pro with a Core i7 processor with 4 GB of 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM (PC3 – 10600) and 750 GB of hard drive space. This device includes the Thunderbolt standard port that supports 10 Gbps of bandwidth in both directions and is also used by peripherals to support resolutions as high as 2560×1600 and audio signals.

The operating system of the MacBook Pro can also be upgraded from its pre-installed MacOS X 10.6.6 (10J3210) to up to current MacOS X 10.13.x. It can also be a host to the Windows OS 7 (32-Bit) and accommodate operating system as high as the Windows 8.1 (64-Bit).
