The MacBook Pro a1398 has a 512 GB SSD of 6 Gb/s storage. The model is comparatively thinner because the RAM is attached to a logic board. Which represents a major improvement from the hard drives used in the previous generations. Since flash storage is significantly faster, it is still used in the latest models today.

Upgradability

The operating system of the MacBook Pro can be upgraded from its default MacOS X 10.7.4 (11E2068) to the current MacOS X. It can also host Windows OS 7 (32-Bit) and updated to operating systems as high as Windows 8.1 (64-Bit). This MacBook Pro comes with dimensions of 0.71 x 14.13 x 9.73 and a weight of 4.46 lbs (2.02 kg).
