About this iMac
The Apple iMac 3.0GHz i5 MNDY2LL/A Aluminum released in June 2017 had some improvements from the other models, such as the 802.11ac Wi-Fi, which is backward compatible with the 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. The 2017 iMac 3.0GHz had a configuration with 8 GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 SDRAM standard. This computer had all the needs of this generation of computing packed into its 45.0 cm, 52.8 cm, and 17.5 cm and featured a lightweight 12.5 lbs. (5.66 kg) casing.
The 2017 iMacs looked just like the previous generation of iMacs. The 2017 21-inch iMac can upgrade storage and memory, though it’s a difficult process that can damage the machine if not done properly.

The standard 2017 21 inch iMac was built with 1 TB Serial ATA (6 Gb/s) hard drive storage with a disk speed of 5400 RPM. The storage can be upgraded after purchase, but is a very difficult upgrade and requires removal of the display.

The a1418 iMac Intel Aluminum version featured a 21.5 inch screen4096×2304 LED-backlit 16:9 widescreen IPS display.
Processor& Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)
The iMac had the Mac OS X 10.12.4 (16E2193) operating system pre-installed on it. It was powered by 14-nm “Kaby Lake” 3.0 GHz Intel “Core i5” processor (7400) with four independent processor “cores” on a single chip. Its graphics processor was a Radeon Pro 555 graphics processor with 2 GB of dedicated VRAM.
Memory & Architecture
The device was built with a 6 MB on-chip level 3 cache with a 8 GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 SDRAM that is reportedly onboard. It’s designed was centered on a 64-Bit architecture.
Upgradability
The iMac came with 8 GB of RAM it could be upgraded up to 32 GB of RAM.
The Operating System of the iMac can also be upgraded from its pre-installed Mac OS X 10.12.4 (16E2193) up to current MacOS X. This iMac was also able to run Windows 7 (64-Bit) and more recently Windows 10 (64-Bit).
