About this iMac
The Apple iMac Intel Aluminum released on October 13, 2015, had some uniqueness of its own from the other models such as the 802.11ac Wi-Fi which is backward compatible with the 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. It had an 8 GB of onboard 1867 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM. The “thick-at-the-middle-thin-at-the edges” design remained the same in this release of the computer just as in late 2012, late 2013, and mid 2014 versions. This computer had all the needs of this generation of computing packed into its 45.0 cm, 52.8 cm, 17.5 cm and featured a light weight of 12.5 lbs. (5.68 kg) casing.

The iMac had the Mac OS X 10.11 (15A2301) operating system pre-installed on it. It was powered by 14-nm “Broadwell” 3.1 GHz Intel “Core i5” processor (5675R) with four independent processor “cores” on a single chip. Its graphics processor was the “integrated” Intel Iris Pro 6200 graphics processor that shares the system memory.
