Center Stage automatically pans the camera to keep them in view. This is especially useful when other people join in because the camera detects them and smoothly zooms out to include them. Center Stage shines during video calls and it makes them feel more natural. It works in FaceTime, but also in other third-party video-calling apps. The A13 Bionic chip is more powerful than its predecessor, the A12 Bionic chip, and supports Neural Engine machine learning.
