This 50mm refractor telescope kit comes with all the parts and clear instructions needed to build the telescope and a custom solar filter for safe solar viewing. Assembly is quick and requires no tools or adhesives, making it perfect for beginners and educational settings.
Users can enjoy views of the Moon’s craters, Jupiter’s Galilean moons, Saturn’s rings, and bright star clusters. The kit includes a 25x eyepiece and a unique accessory that doubles as a 2x Barlow lens or a 17x Galilean eyepiece with an upright field of view, replicating Galileo’s original night sky experience. Along the way, users learn fundamental optical principles such as lens function and magnification effects.
