A Traditional Electric Fireplace, Built In or as an Insert
The Amantii Traditional Lumina is an electric fireplace with a classic log-and-firebox look. It frames into a new wall like a built-in, and the 26, 30, 33 and 38-inch sizes can also go into the opening of an existing wood or gas fireplace with an insert trim kit. It plugs into a standard outlet, needs no gas line or chimney, and the flame runs with or without heat, so it gets used all year.
Six Widths, and Four of Them Work as Inserts
The Traditional Lumina comes in 26, 30, 33, 38, 44 and 48-inch widths. All six build into a framed wall using the trim that comes on the unit. To fit one into an existing fireplace instead, Amantii makes 3-sided and 4-sided insert trim kits for the 26 through 38 only, sold separately; the 44 and 48 are built-in models. The smaller three need a wall opening about 12 inches deep, the 38 about 13, and the 44 and 48 about 14 3/8, so check depth as carefully as width. Viewing glass runs from about 23 3/8 inches wide on the 26 to 45 3/8 inches on the 48.
Heat Comes Out the Front, So It Can Sit Flush

The heater blows forward from hidden vents at the top of the unit, so it can sit flush or semi-flush with no grille in sight. On high it puts out about 5,000 BTU from a standard 120V outlet, enough to take the chill off the room it is in. The thermostat holds anywhere from 59°F to 82°F, and the timer can shut it off after 30 minutes to 8 hours. Control it from the touch panel, the patented thermostatic remote, or the Tuya Smart Life app over Wi-Fi, with flame brightness, flame speed and ember bed lighting each set separately.
Best for Retrofitting a Fireplace You No Longer Burn
In the 26 to 38-inch sizes, this is the fireplace for a house with a masonry or gas fireplace that sits unused because it is drafty, messy or not worth the upkeep. It keeps the traditional log look that fits a mantel and hearth. All six sizes also suit a new wall in a home, hotel, restaurant or office that wants a fire without venting. If you want a long, modern flame instead, a linear electric fireplace suits that look better.
Check the Outlet and the Damper Before It Goes In
- Power: the cord exits on the left side and is about 70 7/8 inches long. Amantii asks for a dedicated outlet that no other appliance shares, and never an extension cord or power strip. Most old fireplaces have no outlet nearby, so plan where it plugs in, or have a qualified electrician hardwire it as Amantii's manual describes.
- Chimney: close the damper. The fireplace does not use the flue, and an open one only lets warm air out and cold air in.
- Measuring: measure the firebox at its narrowest point. Many masonry fireboxes taper toward the back, so the opening at the front can be wider than the space the cabinet actually has.
- Outdoors: Amantii approves outdoor installs on the outside of a main building, not a standalone structure, with an overhang that reaches out at least half the roof-line height in front and on each side.
Optional accessories: Amantii designer media kits to change the log style, and Ember and Ice media for electric fireplaces. Building a new wall instead? Finish it with one of our fireplace mantels.
