Great condition will show light signs of wear including scratches, scuffs, or small dings. Wear will be minimal but may be visible from an arm’s length distance. -

Good condition with average signs of wear including scratches, scuffs, or dings that will be visible within an arm’s length distance. -
Fair
Fair condition with heavy signs of wear may include scratches, scuffs, screen delamination, dings, or dents that will be visible from more than an arm’s length distance. -

- Creating a backup of your wallet is important. It ensures that your funds can be restored even if you lose or break your device. By default, the BitBox02 creates a backup on a microSD card. As an additional option, some users prefer to create an analog backup by writing down 24 recovery words. This backup option follows the Bitcoin standard BIP39 and can be recovered with any Bitcoin wallet. With high quality Backup Card, you can be sure that your analog backup withstands the test of time and can be easily recovered.
- CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS - Writing down the 24 recovery words is not a very intuitive process and needs to be executed with certain precautions. The same holds true for recovery: you or someone else might have to recover your wallet far in the future. Short, concise instructions are an integral part of our backup card and help make this process as safe as possible. We have included web links to additional information and help, should you have any questions.
- AGEING RESISTANT - A backup needs to withstand the test of time. We use fine high-quality and ageing-resistant cardboard that is chlorine-free and acid-free. It is sourced from a specialty paper manufacturer with over 100 years of experience.
- STABILITY - Our fine cardboard with a weight of 270 g/m2, used in three layers with the outer cover and the backup inlay, makes for a solid card.
- LAMINATION PROTECTION - The included cold-lamination card adds important protection against moisture and physical wear and does not require a lamination machine. Please note that the lamination is not designed to be resistant against physical access or tampering. For that, a tamper-evident security bag can be used to store the backup card.
